Cowichan
River Wilderness Lodge is a privately owned lodge and home situated in a natural
setting on the scenic Cowichan River.
Located in Lake Cowichan, just 70 minutes from Victoria and Nanaimo, one may experience
a sense of seclusion and a
closeness to nature while still being able to enjoy the features of the
larger cities. Guests can
choose from an array of golf courses, shopping, tourist attractions and
outdoor recreational activities. Nearby
is the world famous Cowichan Lake, home to kayaking, hiking, swimming,
waterskiing, and of course, fishing! This
beautiful log home with hardwood floors throughout, overlooks a
river tributary abounding with fish, otters, and birds. Observe the eagles
fishing for salmon, watch from
the patio as the otters play in their natural habitat, or stroll some
of the 16 acres of river and forest trails. All guests
staying at the CRWL have access to a range of ammenities such as; a 52" screen satellite television, dining room (with BYOB bar) internet hookups,
hottub, and large pest-free patio overlooking the river, outdoor fire pit, bar-b-que, gazebos,
1200 feet of private river front and 16 acres of forest trails.
After
a full day, guests may simply relax in front of the river-rock fire place
in the main lodge, or perhaps play board games, read, or watch the big
screen TV in the guest
lounge.
Later, retire in one of our 2 deluxe suites or one of our 2 smaller bedrooms each air-conditioned and complete with hypo-allergenic

Begin your day with a gourmet breakfast and fresh brewed coffee or tea
beside the picture window in our dining room. Breakfast starts with a fruit salad, choice of continental breakfast fare,
a hot special of the day, and fresh juice.
